The Leadership Revolution: Mastering the Art of Leadership Together

Real Success is finding your life’s work in the work that you love ~David McCullough

The point is to become yourself . . .

“. . . the point is not to become a leader.  The point is to become yourself, to use yourself completely – all your skills, gifts and energies – in order to make your vision manifest.  You must withhold nothing.  You must, in sum, become the person you started out to be, and to enjoy the process of becoming.”

~Warren Bennis in On Becoming a Leader

Yes, yes and yes! Why is it that so many people still think they need to be clones of great leaders (including those who want to be just like the author of this comment) rather than just being the best version of themselves they can be. To me, that’s the way to grow into an engaging leader.
