I heartily agree with this statement. Our “western” education system turns out people deigned to be specialists. Leadership is a generalist trait. You need a broad understanding of the world and especially of people and social systems.

This means that it is impossible for anyone to acquire the leadership skills without further skill development in addition to those the standard educational systems develop.
